Print of 1918 Brunswick, Maine Railroad Sidetracks
Based on years of research and personal knowledge, I have created a series of unique prints depicting the sidetrack layouts as they existed in l9l8 at over 500 different locations on the Maine Central Railroad (MEC).
Created from original l9l8 blueprints, this print depicts all of the sidetracks at Brunswick, Maine, including the track numbers, switch locations, track lengths, and car capacities. The print depicts all of the other yard features such as the locations of the station building, freight house, engine house, turntable, water tank, water columns, scales, and other buildings.
A legend on the right hand side of the print depicts and labels all of the features on the print. The yard limit line separating Brunswick Yard and Brunswick West Yard is also shown on the print. The print shows the tracks owned by others such as the Lewiston Augusta and Waterville (L A & W) Street Railway tracks in Pleasant Street and Main Street, and it shows the location of the starting points of the Lewiston Lower Branch and the Rockland Branch.
This print measures 18-inches high by 60-inches long. It is printed on exceptionally high quality 286 g/m2 (76 lb) Hewlett Packard Premium Plus Photo Satin paper with vibrant and durable high quality Vivera inks certified to last more than 80 years. Suitable for framing and public display.
